Rev. Abraham Varghese

Pastor Abraham Varghese has been in the ministry since his Childhood days. Rev. Abraham now serves as Pastor & President of Bethel AG Church Bangalore which is a mega Church with services in many languages.

Abraham was born in Thiruvalla, Kerala, India. Kerala state is fondly called “God’s Own Country”. He completed his degree at the Bangalore University, majoring in Journalism, Sociology and Political Science. He went on to complete a course in “Television Broadcasting” At the Geoffrey Conway School of Broadcasting & Communications - Burlington, Ontario, CA.

 

During his childhood, his family moved to a few cities, Delhi, Punjab and finally to Bangalore. His father, Rev. MA Varughese, is a world renowned speaker, Pastor served as President of Bethel AG Church, and now handed the mantle to Rev. Abraham Varghese.

Growing up in a pastor’s home, Abraham was closely associated with pastoral ministry & leadership from an early age.

 

An effective leader and communicator of God’s Word, Rev. Abraham is widely known for his practical and dynamic teaching style which helps people apply the timeless truths of Scripture to their everyday lives.

He and his wife, Jisha, have been married since 1999. They are the proud parents of two adult children who work alongside them in ministry, Blesson Abraham and Ashish Abraham.
